Poetic Pete is a shy, gifted, and misunderstood child. Because of his passion for writing and reading poetry, he becomes the focus of a schoolyard bully. Feeling worthless and like an outcast, he retreats further into his poems.
When Billy the Bully has his own problems, an opportunity arises for Poetic Pete to offer help. Will Billy accept it or continue to call him names?
Can two boys from different backgrounds discover how to understand each other? Will Poetic Pete find a place for his verse while staying true to himself and his talent?
