Though no one really knows the exact day, August 15, 1945 is accepted as the day World War II. However, it didn’t become official until today (V-J Day) because this is the date the armistice was signed in 1945. Japan’s surrender brought peace after six horrific years of hellish conditions, which irrevocably altered our world forever.
