This month I thought I would chat about flowers and plants. I’m not a gardener and don’t have green fingers, I wish I did. That doesn’t stop me from loving a garden that is full of vibrant colours and lush green foliage. Photographs and pictures are also glorious and beautiful to look at.

One of my favourite flowers is the sunflower. I recently wrote an article on my blog about them. You can find that by following the link below.

One of the most famous gardens in England is called Kew and is based in London. I have a vague recollection of going there on a school trip. The thing I remember the most is the huge glass domes. You can find out more about them by following the link.

Kew Gardens also appears in a list of thirty of the most beautiful gardens in the world. There is a selection of slides and the colours are amazing.

I have in my garden this beautiful Hydrangea plant. Every year it gives me a wonderful display, except for one year. My son-in-law cut the hedge that surrounds my house. Everything was levelled off. It didn’t occur to me that I needed to point them out. And because they were not yet in full bloom, it didn’t occur to him either. He sliced the top of them taking off all the flower heads. Needless to say, he has never lived that down and I don’t let him forget it either!
