The Hitman (The Order's Assassin #1)The Hitman by D.C. Gomez
REVIEW BY: J.M. NORTHUP

Great Short Story
D.C. Gomez never fails to deliver a great tale. Once again, she draws me into the world of magic and supernatural beings. Weaving a story filled with interesting characters, mysteries to hook you, and twists to shock, the author pulls you in.
Though this is a great short story, it’s not long enough. LOL This was a strong start to the new series and set things up beautifully, but it left me wanting more. It did it’s job in tantalizing me, and I devoured it. Now, I’m anxious to get into the next installment.
Clearly, I recommend this title to anyone who loves tales with witches, demons, and shifters. If you love paranormal and supernatural intrigues, this is for you. It’s an enjoyable read! The Traitor (The Order's Assassin Book 2)The Traitor by D. C. Gomez

Great book and series
A wonderful second installment to continue this great series. The twists and turns are entertaining while the characters charm and delight. Love it and can’t wait for the next book.
I absolutely love Eric, Sasha, and the cast of characters. The author writes diverse and fun people who draw you in. I quickly became invested in them and enjoy the teasing amongst the friends.
The book could use other edit run – there were a few issues. However, nothing that took away from the story. The plot is action-packed, unpredictable, and engaging. I feel it’s a testament to the author’s writing talents – D.C. Gomez always keeps me glued to the pages.
It’s going to be a difficult wait for book 3. In addition to reading the other series tied to these characters, I think I’ll take pleasure in rereading this series again. It’s that good!
