I found a envelope recently with drawings my Uncle Colin did. He died in his nineties in 2000. They were put in a drawer and forgotten about.

His drawings are magnificent. I knew he loved to draw and have seen the odd one. Now as I look at these I realise this is what I aspire too.

He and his wife spent their holidays on walking tours all over the UK. Colin sketched what he saw. Landscapes, farmhouse, and churches, anything that caught his eye.

Also a great portrait artist, he drew the people around him on scraps of paper. He also sketched the occasional famous person.

So this month in my little corner of Norns, I thought I would share a few with you.
