Romance is not just associated with February. Eileen Buchheim created Romance Awareness month to encourage couples to improve their relationships through romance all year long.
I tried to find out when Romance Month first started and more about the founder. I couldn’t find a definitive answer for either. However, I discovered an article in The Seattle Times dated 1991 that said she produced romance kits for delivery to your door.
I also discovered lots of people have written about Romance Month and all gave various suggestions on how to celebrate. Each one is interesting, and if you put the name Eileen Buchheim into Google you will be able to find them.
