Each year, on May 1st, we recognize Mother Goose. A beloved children’s author of nursery rhymes, the true identity of Mother Goose is actually unknown. However, what is known is that Charles Perrault first published her collection in 1967. It contained rhymes and folk tales, and it essentially created the fairy tale genre.

Today, on National Mother Goose Day, celebrate by rekindling some of your old favorites. Share some great fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and folklore with your family and friends. Enjoy the traditions of storytelling!
