Each culture has their own time to mark the new year on the calendar. This depends on what sort of calendar they follow, such as a lunar calendar. However, for many, we recognize New Year’s as January 1st, in alignment with the Gregorian calendar.
I remember watching Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve as a kid. It was exciting to try to stay up long enough to see the ball drop. I used to dream of what it would be like to have a glass of champagne after sharing that momentous kiss with someone special at exactly midnight. Now, I am just happy to be in pajamas, snuggled beside my handsome husband with a good book and a cat. LOL
However you prefer to celebrate or when, be safe and enjoy. Have a prosperous and blessed New Year filled with hope and love!
