This is a great month for cats, but it is, also, a time to recognize squirrels. This month celebrates four (4) observances:
Global Cat Day
National Cat Day
National Black Cat Day
Squirrel Awareness Month
In addition, it’s National Book Month and the third full week in October is National Friends of Libraries Week
We thought with so many cool things happening this month, we would do something new and fun.

To enter, you just need to submit an original drawing of a cat or squirrel. That’s it!
Of course, by submitting your original drawing, you’re (1) acknowledging that you own the rights to said drawing and (2) you’re giving us permission to display your artwork
on our blog (starting Nov 5, 2021) in an online art exhibit.
Be sure to include your name, contact information, and the name/title you want to have displayed with your drawing
(i.e. Tommy’s Cat, Age 7).
The winners will be chosen randomly from those who have submitted a drawing for the art exhibit. Each of the three (3) winners will be able to select whether they want a paperback or ebook edition of FELINE FASCINATIONS: The Adventures of Boris and Olga.
