I am in a unique position to understand the role and life of a trucker. I am the granddaughter, daughter, sister, niece, and wife of truckers as well as friend… I have lived in the semi with my husband while he drove over-the-road. This is a difficult life, but one that keeps the world going. I always taught my children that the foundation of all civilization is farming, hands down. Then comes garbage removal and a means to bring the goods to market – transportation… trucking. Of course, infrastructures needs to be in place, but you cannot have anything else if you don’t first start with food, delivering food, and removing waste. The pandemic only illustrated this all the more.
So, today and everyday, let’s say THANK YOU… to our truckers and all those who go unnoticed as they tirelessly service our world in the transportation industry!
