J.K. Rowling wrote her first book at the age of four. Her first published novel, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, was in 1997. She went on to becoming the first ever billion-dollar author with her earnings in 2004.
J.K. Rowling receive a Bachelor’s degree in French and the classics before achieving a postgraduate certificate in modern languages. Then, she taught English in Portugal. In addition, she not only gave the 2008 commencement address but also received an honorary degree from Harvard University.
J.K. Rowling‘s has been highly recognized for her achievements in wirting. In 2001, Prince Charles gave her the Order of the British Empire. This amazing woman, also, donated to the research clinic at University of Edinburgh. This is when the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurological Clinic was named in honor of her mother. Anne died in 1990 due to complications relating to her MS.
